Coaching
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you can’t quite shift, or craving more structure and support—but not sure therapy is the right fit? Maybe you’re managing ADHD, struggling with relationships, or trying to break free from cycles of avoidance, perfectionism, or procrastination. Coaching might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Executive Function & Attachment Coaching
At Restore Psychology, we offer two specialized coaching services: Executive Functioning Coaching and Attachment & Relationship Coaching. Executive Functioning Coaching is ideal for those navigating ADHD or related challenges, and focuses on building practical skills like time management, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through. Attachment & Relationship Coaching helps you better understand your relationship patterns—especially if you tend to feel anxious, avoidant, or overwhelmed in connection with others. Together, we’ll explore how to move toward more secure, connected, and authentic relationships, whether with partners, family, or yourself.

Attachment & Relationship Coaching for Adults
Do you tend to feel anxious, distant, or unsure of yourself in relationships? Maybe you struggle with overthinking, emotional walls, or difficulty communicating what you really need. These patterns often stem from early relationship experiences, but they don’t have to define how you connect now. Our Attachment & Relationship Coaching offers a non-clinical, supportive space to explore your patterns and build new ways of relating—with others and with yourself.

Coaching may include:
-
Identifying your attachment tendencies (anxious, avoidant, etc.)
-
Noticing emotional triggers and habitual responses
-
Strengthening communication, assertiveness, and boundaries
-
Gaining clarity about your needs in relationships
-
Practicing secure, self-aware ways of connecting
Whether you're single, navigating dating, relationships, or your own self-worth, attachment coaching helps you move toward more fulfilling and balanced relationships. If you're searching for relationship coaching for adults or support for attachment patterns without therapy, this approach offers an empowering next step.

Together, we work to:
-
Build effective time management and scheduling strategies

How is coaching different than therapy?
Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to help you make meaningful changes in your daily life. Whether you're navigating ADHD-related challenges, attachment patterns, or simply feeling stuck, coaching offers practical tools, accountability, and support to help you move forward. Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and it does not explore past trauma in the same way clinical therapy might. Because coaching is not considered a healthcare service, it is not covered by insurance and does not fall under HIPAA regulations. That said, we are committed to protecting your privacy and handle all coaching-related information with care and discretion.
How do I know if I need coaching or therapy?
If you're functioning relatively well in your day-to-day life but want support with structure, relationships, or personal growth, coaching may be a good fit. If you're struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or other mental health concerns that interfere with your ability to function, therapy might be more appropriate. Not sure which is right for you? We're happy to help you decide.
How much does coaching cost and is it covered by insurance?
No — coaching is not considered a healthcare service and is not covered by insurance. However, many clients find the flexibility and forward-focused nature of coaching to be a worthwhile investment in their growth and well-being. Our coaching sessions are 60 minutes long and cost $300 per session.
Can I receive coaching services if I don't live in California?
Yes! Since coaching is not a licensed healthcare service, we’re able to work with clients across state lines and even internationally, depending on local laws. Sessions are held virtually for your convenience.
Can I do coaching and therapy at the same time?
Yes — many people benefit from working with both a therapist and a coach. If you're already in therapy, coaching can complement that work by focusing on practical strategies, executive functioning skills, or relational habits in daily life.
